What Same-Day Urgent Servicing Includes

The work itself is the same as a scheduled service. The difference is speed of booking, not quality of work.

General Servicing (Same-Day, $40 to $50 per fan coil)

• Filter wash and dry
• Front panel and louvre wipe-down
• Drain pipe flush with vacuum gun to clear algae
• Indoor coil light wash with sanitiser spray
• Outdoor unit fan and coil dust removal
• Temperature drop test (return air vs supply air)
• Refrigerant pressure quick check
• Electrical safety check on capacitor and relay

Time on site: 30 to 45 minutes per unit. Two-man crew for system 2 and above.

Chemical Wash (Same-Day, $80 to $130 per fan coil)

• Full filter, panel, drum, and louvre removal
• Indoor coil submerged in chemical solution to dissolve embedded dust, oil, and bacteria
• Drain pan removed, cleaned, sanitised
• Blower wheel detached, soaked, scrubbed
• Outdoor coil chemical rinse
• Pressure test on completion

Time on site: 90 to 120 minutes per unit. Required when general servicing no longer fixes smell or weak cooling.

Chemical Overhaul (Next-Day Usually, $150 to $230 per fan coil)

• Full dismantle of indoor unit from the wall
• Every component soaked, scrubbed, sanitised individually
• Copper coil deep-cleaned
• Reassembly with new gaskets
• Vacuum and pressure recharge

Time on site: 3 to 4 hours per unit. Two technicians. We rarely promise same-day for this because the bench work takes hours and our urgent crew schedules it for the next morning slot.

Gas Top-Up (Same-Day, $80 to $180 depending on R32 or R410A)

• Refrigerant level check on both pressure gauges
• Leak detection scan if pressure is low
• Top-up to manufacturer spec
• Cooling performance test

If a leak is detected, we quote the repair separately and only proceed with your approval.

Book before 11 am for confirmed same-day attendance. Calls between 11 am and 3 pm get same-day on a best-effort basis, depending on slots remaining. Calls after 3 pm get next-morning priority slots starting at 9 am.

Tell us three things on the first call so we quote and book in one go:

2. How many fan coils and what brand

If you do not know what you need, we send a technician with both general servicing kit and chemical wash chemicals. He inspects on site, quotes the right service, and only proceeds after you approve.

What We Need From You

Three things speed up the visit and stop us from having to reschedule.

One. Confirm someone above 18 will be home for the full duration. We cannot enter or leave the unit empty.

Two. Move furniture or decor away from the indoor units before we arrive. Chemical wash drips. Drain pan removal needs floor space below. A 1.5 metre clearance around each unit saves 15 minutes per room.

Three. Have the breaker box accessible. We isolate power at the DB before touching the unit. If the box is hidden behind a heavy wardrobe, the visit takes longer.

Pricing You Can Trust

Every quote is fixed before the technician starts. No add-ons after the work. If we open the unit and find a problem we did not see during the initial assessment, we stop, show you the issue, and ask before continuing.

Discount for booking 3 or more fan coils on the same visit: 10 percent off the total.

Discount for repeat customers on quarterly contracts: 15 percent off urgent callouts.

No “urgency surcharge”. The price is the same whether you book 2 weeks ahead or 2 hours ahead. The only reason we hold a separate urgent queue is to make space for the bookings, not to upcharge them.

FAQ

Will you really come today, or is “urgent” just marketing?

Yes, the same day for calls received before 11 am. Late afternoon calls get next-morning slots starting 9 am. Our team operates on a fixed roster with reserved urgent capacity, not on a best-effort basis.

My aircon still cools. Is urgent servicing the right call?

If cooling is fine but smell, dust, water dripping, or visible mould is present, urgent servicing is correct. If cooling has stopped completely, the right page is emergency same-day aircon repair, not this one.

Do you charge extra for weekends?

Saturday rates are identical to weekdays. Sunday adds a $20 flat callout fee per visit, not per unit.

Can you service all aircon brands?

Yes. Our technicians are trained on Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy, Panasonic, Hitachi, Fujitsu, LG, Samsung, Toshiba, Sharp, Midea, Gree, Sanyo, Europace, York, Carrier, and Haier. No additional charge for brand-specific tools.

What if I need a chemical overhaul, not just a wash?

Chemical overhauls require 3 to 4 hours of bench work per unit. We schedule these for next-morning slots, not same-day. The unit goes back on the wall by late afternoon the same day.

Do you provide a service report after the visit?

Yes. Every job ends with a written report stating what was done, before-and-after temperature readings, pressure readings, and any recommended follow-up. Photo evidence is included for chemical wash and overhaul jobs.
